Winter Family Portraits with Christy and Mike
Just before Christmas there was hardly any snow in Prince George which is not usual, and still the setting was great with the tree bones in the background. Christy arranged the session wiith her extended family on a chilly afternoon at Cottonwood Island Park. With several short warm up breaks where we hopped into our vehicles, we managed to get her session done in less than an hour!
Christy wanted their photos captured by the replica bridge where she and Mike had met two years ago. It's a popular place for photos to happen, but when the temperature drops, it's not nearly as crowded. We had plenty of room to spread out on the bridge too!
It was a bit chilly down at Cottonwood Island Park but we managed to gather this extended family together for one big group shot. We had three generations on Christy's side and three generations (and another on the way making it four generations!) on Mike's side so it was definately a memorable time for all.
With two teenage girls and a young boy turning double digits, this family picked a perfect time in life to capture moments like these. And living in the north, we are fortunate to have all four seasons to create wonderful memories to treasure forever. Thank you, Christy and Mike, for trusting me to create these images for you.
